Policies & Scheduling Information

My goal is to provide a calm, focused experience for every client while maintaining a sustainable schedule that allows me to do my best work. The following policies are in place to support mutual respect, clarity, and smooth scheduling.

Scheduling & Booking

All appointments are scheduled online through the booking system. This ensures accuracy, clear communication, and timely confirmation for both client and practitioner.

A dedicated business phone number (828-829-1281) is available for calls or texts. While you are welcome to call, text messages receive the quickest response, as I am often in session with a client and unable to answer phone calls during the day.

Appointment Confirmation Policy

A confirmation request is sent 72 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Appointments must be confirmed within 24 hours of the confirmation request.

If confirmation is not received at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time, and the client cannot be reached, the appointment will be forfeited and offered to another client on the waitlist.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

I kindly request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This courtesy allows me the opportunity to offer the appointment time to another client.

*Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a charge of 50% of the service cost.

No-Show Policy

Missed appointments without notice significantly impact my schedule and do not allow enough time to fill the session.

*Failure to arrive without any contact (No-Call/No-Show) will result in a fee of 100% of the service cost. In the event that you are using a gift certificate, a no-show will result in the total forfeiture of that certificate’s value for the scheduled session.

Communication

Text messaging is the most efficient way to reach me for quick questions or scheduling-related concerns. Emails and calls are also welcome, though responses may take longer depending on the day’s session schedule. 828-829-1281

Respect for Time & Space

Appointments are reserved specifically for you. Please arrive on time to ensure you receive the full benefit of your session. Late arrivals may result in shortened session time to remain respectful of the schedule.

Gift Certificate Policy

Availability

To ensure the best experience for our community, gift certificates are no longer available for purchase online. They may be purchased in-office only and are available exclusively for existing clients to use or to gift to others.

Redemption & Value

We are happy to honor all gift certificates, regardless of when they were purchased. Please note the following regarding older certificates:

• Monetary Value: Gift certificates are redeemable for the original dollar amount paid at the time of purchase.

• Service Price Adjustments: If a certificate was purchased for a specific service (e.g., "60-Minute Massage") and our service rates have since increased, the certificate will be applied as a credit toward the current price of that service.

• Balance Due: Any difference between the original purchase price and the current service rate will be due at the time of your appointment.
